As one of the largest local distribution network operators nationwide, we ensure safe and trouble-free operation of the gas supply in Berlin and large parts of Brandenburg. In addition to supply, this also includes the maintenance and expansion of the pipeline network infrastructure as well as ensuring and processing network access and network transit for a large number of gas distributors. As a close partner of the capital region on the path to climate neutrality, we are working on upgrading the network for green gases such as hydrogen.
Your area of responsibility
You create meaningful risk assessments and operating instructions
You will carry out internal training and instructions as well as internal occupational safety audits to evaluate and update risk assessments
You are not afraid to carry out internal audits on construction sites and, if necessary, instruct third-party companies in collaboration with our specialist departments
You control the implementation of occupational safety and accident prevention by inspecting the workplaces and workplaces, documenting any defects and suggesting practical measures to eliminate defects
You process and analyze accidents and suggest measures to prevent accidents at work
You proactively advise on the planning, creation and procurement of operational facilities, workshops, work equipment as well as social and sanitary facilities and carry out safety checks before commissioning
You maintain contact with other companies in the GASAG Group, supervisory authorities, company doctors and third parties in the area of responsibility
your qualification
You have a completed degree (Bachelor or Master) as an engineer in energy technology or supply technology or a comparable qualification as a network master or state-certified technician
You have successfully completed your training as an occupational safety specialist (m/f/d) as proof of safety-related expertise in accordance with Section 7 ASiG and have good knowledge of the relevant laws, regulations and rules in the area of occupational safety
You can demonstrate relevant professional experience in the field of occupational health and safety
You are characterized by your forward-looking, responsible and independent way of working to solve safety-related issues
You proceed in a structured and planned manner and can impress with your strong ability to cooperate and deal with conflict
You have good written and spoken German skills (C2 language level) and score points with convincing situational communication skills
Your high level of commitment and a Class B driving license complete your profile
